She studied law and economics at Yale University in the United States and holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) from the Centre d’Études Diplomatiques et Stratégiques (CEDS) in Paris.
She joined the European Space Agency (ESA) in 1988, where she worked in International Relations, Programmes and Strategy. Subsequently, in 1999, she joined the ESA’s Earth Observation Centre (ESRIN) as Head of Public and Institutional Relations, responsible for Italy, Spain and Portugal. In 2008, she returned to Paris as Head of the Earth Observation Coordination Office.
She is currently Director of Earth Observation Programmes at ESA, having spent more than three decades in the space sector, working both at the Paris headquarters and at ESRIN.
