CopernicusLAC Chile

CopernicusLAC Chile is an initiative of the European Union and the University of Chile, which develops specialised services in land cover and land use, urban atlases and coastal monitoring, integrating in-situ data into these services. It also offers private cloud services and a Sentinel data repository, establishing itself as a strategic regional hub for science, technology and innovation in Earth observation.

Digital and Green Innovation Action

The Digital and Green Innovation Action (DGI) is a global initiative designed to accelerate the twin transition in Latin America and the Caribbean, Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia-Pacific. Bringing together the resources and expertise of the EU and several of its Member States in a Team Europe spirit, DGI offers tailored support to innovators, facilitates multi-stakeholder policy dialogues, and organises targeted finance matchmaking events and advisory to foster collaboration and investment.

OpenBeauchef is the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Chile. It supports science- and technology-based start-ups through training, mentoring, scientific advice, connections with investors, infrastructure and a supportive community.
